The AIR ALERT Valve Cap is a small and simple device that will start blinking if the tire pressure falls about 4 psi below the correct pressure. It is an active warning, which will be seen by the driver as she/he approaches the vehicle.

The AIR ALERT Valve Cap is designed to replace the regular dust cap on a pneumatic (air filled) tire. Therefore it will fit most passenger cars, pick up trucks, large trucks, tractor trailers, fork lifts, motorcycles, bicycles, lawn mowers or wheel barrels. The AIR ALERT Valve Cap is small (approx. 1" x ½ ”) and light (only 0.3 oz which is lighter than a standard letter) that it will have virtually no impact on the wheel balancing for on the appearance of the vehicle.

Durable Design

The AIR ALERT Valve Cap is designed to withstand even the toughest conditions. The body is made of chromed brass and the clear cap is made of clear Polycarbonate. It has no moving parts except a sensor, which will react if the tire pressure drops. The AIR ALERT Valve Cap is entirely sealed and therefore no moisture, dust or dirt can enter into it.

Self-Calibrating

The AIR ALERT Valve Cap is self-calibrating. When the cap is mounted on the valve stem the first time, it will memorize that tire pressure. The cap is calibrated for life and does not need to, and cannot be, updated later. The AIR ALERT Valve Cap can be calibrated to any tire pressure between 10 and 130 psi. Therefore, it is not necessary for the retailer to carry a large inventory of different caps since one size fits all.

Easy to use

It will blink when tire pressure approx. 4 psi (0.3 bar) below the set original pressure. It can be checked for functionality and battery condition by simply unscrewing the cap. If it is in working condition, it will immediately start blinking.

Long Lifespan 

The life span of the AIR ALERT Valve Cap basically depends on of the battery shelf life. After 2 to 3 years of standby time, the AIR ALERT Valve Cap can still blink about up to 3 weeks. We recommend that the AIR ALERT Valve Cap will always be changed simultaneously with the valve stem when replacing the tires or at least every other year.

Lightweight
