Car mirrors are useful accessories. Just because complicated
engineering is not involved in their making their utilitarian
value is not reduced. They contribute to road and driving safety
in a significant way. There are different types of auto mirrors
- like rear view mirrors, side mirrors, towing mirrors etc. They
have their specific uses. Besides they also give a distinctive
look to a car. If you start feeling that a particular feel of
your car does not excite you any more you can have a new set of

direction can blind you if they are not properly placed or their

automatic dimming mirrors. Their sensors detect brightness of
light and automatically take corrective action to reduce the
glare. There are also wide view mirrors which cover a larger
area of the road. If your car does not have such mirrors and you
think they will be useful for you, you can go in for them. The
humble car mirror as you can see has also received
a lot of attention from researchers and car aftermarket product
developers.

There are innovations in side view mirrors also. They
simultaneously serve as signal lights. They indicate to the
driver of the car following you by clearly visible arrows
whether you will be turning left or right. This upgrades safety
on the road. There are other special purpose mirrors. The
mirrors are a big help when you are driving. They are of
particular use when you want to take a turn, reverse the car, or
